Collaborator-Jason Impey

Jason Impey was born on the 26th February 1984 in Northampton. He became very interested in films at a young age. He used to like to watch a film, and then try and work out how it had been made. He built up a great deal of film information that he used to impress people with. He brought films constantly, and he would even spend his last bit of money on a film. He became a big fan of the horror genre, and the more gore the better. He particularly liked B movies. He liked the way that they did not follow the conventional style all Hollywood movies have, and how B movies could be very unpredictable. He loved the fact that B movies would take massive risks.

After the Home Made madness Jason teamed up with fellow filmmaker Kemal Yildirm to create his super 8 masterpiece short Revenge of the Dead, which is one of his most controversial and shocking films to date. This film deals with sexual transmitted diseases using the zombie genre that Jason was so excited to return back to. Jason has managed to get representation by Terror4Fun for this unique film and had it screened at the Phantasmagoria festival 2008.

He then went on to co-make the short film Demon Scroll with Kemal Yildirim starring Rami Hilmi and Julie Gilmour. This time dealing with fantasy action - new territory for Jason, once Demon Scroll was complete Jason made a very interesting pilot action adventure show titled Doug Hanson, a new breed of super hero who has to do battle with the creatures of the night.

Jason then embarked on the Exploitation project with Kemal Yildirim in which Kemal and Jason each made an exploitation feature - Kemal’s being Penance a Giallo movie in which Jason is Director of Photography. Jason has made his epic Tortured - AKA Sex Slave that is a very challenging movie and Jason’s most explicit movie ever! This film is a rape and revenge film in the traditional style of the late 70’s early 80’s Italian cinema mixing it with the zombie genre as well to make the ultimate Grindhouse movie. This film has been premiered at the Phoenix Cinema in London 2008, with audience members leaving due to the shock of this film.

Jason has also been working closely alongside Kemal Yildirim being his director of photography for Kemal’s controversial movies: Less Is More & Rose in which Jason also co-stars.

Jason then teamed up with Kemal Yildirim again to co - write/produce & direct End Transmission which has been picked up by GoreZone magazine and turned into a series resulting in Kemal and Jason setting up Exploitation Pictures with GoreZone magazine.

Jason Impey’s crazy feature Cut & Paste - a mixture of his work is currently going through distribution along with his extreme hardcore film Naked Nazi.

Jason Impey is currently working on the on going horror film review series with Kemal Yildirim for GoreZone TV.

He is also working on the TV series ‘The Seven Deadly’ sins along with Kemal Yildirim, and he is also currently writing his new film ‘The Elevator’ while making his shockumentary on snuff films, a film Jason has longed to do in the vein of Faces of Death!

Jason’s work can be brought from amazon.com and reviews of his films can be found on www.sexgoremutants.co.uk
